From my initial phone conversation, I came away with a positive view of this business. My alternator was out, and there were other maintenance concerns to address. Hank was knowledgeable about the vehicle model I drove and advised me accordingly. He was never condescending to this old lady, which I very much appreciate. Because I use my car for delivery runs, they were receptive to get my car back to me in a timely fashion. And they did so. For 25+ years we’d been taking our cars to the Lexus dealership for 2 of our cars & the Toyota dealership for the SUV & another place for the Ford F-150 truck - for regular maintenance as well as large repairs. Our son who’d moved to Oakhill area told us about Oakhill Automotive. One weekday - only for sake of expediency - we took one of the cars in for the yearly inspection. The inspection & subsequent discussion about preventative maintenance on the one vehicle was all it took for us to decide to move our business from the dealerships to Hank Amor, owner of Oakhill Automotive. It was a multitude of reasons but to wrap up - Hank is extremely knowledgeable on all vehicles/makes/models & is a perfectionist - and his mechanics seem to be too. Work gets done correctly the 1st time & is completed when promised. And we aren’t dealing with 4 people (receptionists/service advisors/mechanic/cashier/etc).
